Oto list Penny do jej kuzynki Alice mieszkającej w Southampton:

Southampton,
Hampshire,
12th October, 2006
Dear Alice,
Mother has agreed to let me go to London for the weekend, and I'm coming next Saturday. Can you meet me at the station? The train arrives at Waterloo at 11.30 a.m.
I suppose I must bring lots of money. I want to do some shopping and London is expensive, isn't it?
I'm looking forward to my visit. I hope you can go to the shops with me and show me the sights.
Love to Aunt June and Uncle George.
Yours,
      Penny

Dear Penny,
Thank you for your letter. I'm so glad Aunt Jean has agreed to let you spend the weekend with us. Of course I can meet you at Waterloo on Saturday, and I can show you all the sighs - Westmister, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, the Tower etc. In the evening we can go and see a film. There is a very good one in our cinema in the High Street.
Of course you must bring some money if you want to do your shopping here. I can take you to some good shops which are not too expensive.
      Looking forward to your visit,
Yours,
      Alice
